One more week and my college career is OVER. Technically, it's over on Tuesday after I take my last final, but I guess you gotta count graduation.
Let's rewind a couple months and get you back up to speed.
Fall semester ended. It was lovely. Literally can't even remember if it ended well or not. OH. I finally finished the horrid logic class. Thanks a lot Phoenix for recommending that class to me -__- Also finished my last religion class. Yaaaaay. Don't get me wrong. Religion is fine. It's getting graded on it that I don't agree with. I won't go into my rant...just know I think it should be a pass/fail kind of thing. Anyways! Thanksgiving came; we went to Clovis. It was a grand time. Leia got to meet Bridgette... Bridgette is a wimp. End of story. But we love her for it. Christmas came and went. We spent it at Brad's, which was weird since I've never not been home for Christmas. Thank goodness for FaceTime.

Birthday came. Yay being 22. That song is a lie. I don't feel any different. We went out to dinner and Brad got me a steamer. Comes in handy with clothes you can't just throw in the dryer to unwrinkle.
Then Winter semester started. Our last one. I had only signed up for 3 classes and thought "Oh good. My last semester will be easy and enjoyable." FUNNY. One of the three classes was easy. My comms elective. Then there was accounting. I don't understand those people who choose to major in accounting (Sorry Ryan). No one is forcing them; they ACTUALLY like it. Ha. Ha Ha Ha. No one should be required to take that class. It should be a choice. Man, I still have to take the final and I'm dreading it. It's gonna suck. That class took up so much time with the software videos we had to watch. "The software video for next class is 3.23 hours at 1x speed..." ONLY 3.23 hours huh? Can't wait to spend my night doing THAT assignment. Yippy for me!

Then there was my capstone. Now. Going into this class, I knew that it was going to be a challenge. There are 3 capstone classes and 2 of the 3 are a joke. Then you've got Ogden's class=my class. Our client was Marriott International and let me tell ya, it was no easy thing. The whole semester was constant group meetings, late nights, wanting to punch certain individuals in the face. But you know? In the end it was ok. If I ever see any of my capstone classmates later in life, it will be a glorious reunion. We formed a bond. The CALA capstone bond. Shout out to Michelle, Robbie and Josh for being champions. I finally understood the toll that class took on me last night...when I slept for 13 hours. No big deal.

Brad has had a rough semester too. I want to say that 5 out of the 7 week nights he is up till midnight studying. With his neuroscience capstone and anatomy, there is a lot of memorizing and a lot of tests. Cuddos to him for getting through.
In the midst of all this, we got grass in our backyard for Leia. She is a very happy puppy.
Now onto more exciting things. My family is coming for graduation! And my second family! WOOOOOO! I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving which is um WAY too long. The only two not coming are Shanna and Andrew, but it's ok. Valid excuse. Anyways, the parentals and Jared are arriving Wednesday night (and the Cains, but I won't see them till Thursday), Tiff on Thursday night. She'll miss commencement but thats fine. Convocations are more important anyway. They're all staying until Sunday.

The next Saturday after graduation, we are flying to San Fran to spend the weekend in Redding for a Storer reunion. This hasn't happened since I was...5? Maybe 7? So it'll be fun. We're bringing Leia on the plane...I really hope she doesn't whine the whole time. Sorry other passengers. After the reunion, Shanna, Andrew, Brad and I will spend a day in San Fran before the three of them fly back to Utah. Then there's me...staying in Fresno to teach at Jan Thomas Swim School. You know, each time I teach there I think it's going to be the last summer and it never is. Not saying that it's a bad thing! I just think it's funny I always find my way back. I'll be at the swim school for 4 weeks this summer. Should be fun!
In June, I'm going on a graduation trip with Katlyn, Sherry (Kate's mom), and Katie to CANCUN. You could say we're excited. I've been dubbed the travel agent...I already created a Google doc with everything we need to do and all the good places to eat at. I'm not into planning...not at all... but it's going to be great! Snorkeling. Really wanna snorkel.

Then...well...I'm not sure. The beauty of graduating and moving on with life, right? Brad is currently interviewing with a company and if he gets the position, we will be moving to FRESNO. Yup, that's right, I might be coming home! Brad said he never wants to live in California but ALAS. We might. He'll know sometime in May, so keep your fingers crossed! I am. All my fingers and toes and all of Kim's fingers and toes...and all of Tiffany's fingers and toes. It would be so great moving back. Also! I should probably mention that this job is not dental related. In my last post I talked about Brad planning to go to dental school...yes well that has changed. Plans never stick. Everyone knows that. Brad is applying to be an intraoperative neuromonitoring technologist. It's quite a mouthful and no one knows what it means. It's that member of the surgical team that monitors the brain while the neurosurgeon is messing around in the patient's brain. Pretty cool huh? I think so and Brad is excited, so, another reason why we want this to work! Kim says I kinda married a McDreamy...I'll agree with that (: I mean, Brad's already got the hair...

Sometimes you have no idea what direction you're going in...that is definitely us right now. I would love to know...but I'm lacking a compass. I guess now...we wait.
